Starry Ball Hug From a Peeking Dalmatian Puppy

A smiling Dalmatian puppy peeks over the top of a large round ball and holds it with both front paws. The ball is decorated with three outlined stars of different sizes plus a few round dots, some small and some solid black. The puppy has big floppy ears, one with black spots showing, a shiny dark nose and happy eyes. Its back legs stick out on either side of the ball, with spots on the paw pads, and a little tail curls up on the left. The page has a simple border around it. Kids could color the ball in bright rainbow stripes behind the stars, then pick a different color for each star. It also works well for talking about shapes, since there are stars, circles and ovals to point out. A free printable like this is a nice quiet activity for a rainy afternoon.
