Surprised Cartoon Monkey Leaping With Curly Tail

A cartoon monkey is caught mid-leap with its arms stretched out wide and its hands curled open. Its eyes are round and its mouth hangs open, so it looks startled. A few spiky tufts of hair stick up from the top of its head, and one big ear shows on the left side of the face. The long tail loops around behind the body and ends in a tight curl. One foot with a furry edge peeks out near the bottom, and a few small lines mark the chest. There is no background, so the monkey stands alone on the page with plenty of open space. Try warm browns for the fur and a lighter tan for the face, ears, hands and belly. Kids can also talk about what might have surprised the monkey and draw it in. This page is free to print and works well for a quick animal activity at home or in class.
