Team Huddle for a Kids Volleyball Game
Coloring guide
Six smiling kids lean in close with their hands stacked in the middle, getting ready to cheer before a volleyball game. Two of the girls have long hair, one in a ponytail and one with a side braid, a third girl wears a headband up front, and there are three boys, one with curly hair. Everyone is dressed alike in short-sleeved jerseys, shorts, knee pads, socks and sneakers. A volleyball rests on the floor at the bottom right, and a few simple lines behind the group hint at a court floor. With big shapes and clean lines, it suits early elementary kids who enjoy coloring faces and clothes. Give the whole team one jersey color, like royal blue or sunny yellow, then change up hair and skin colors so each player is different. Print this free page for a screen-free activity at home. - 2Color all the children's shirts and shorts in royal blue, keeping the white stripes on the shorts and the white socks and knee pads untouched.
- 3Fill the faces, arms and legs with peach skin, leaving the eye whites and smiles white.
- 4Color the hair: dark brown for the curly hair on the right boy, chestnut brown for the center boy, medium brown for the ponytail and the front girl, and copper orange for the right girl's braid.
- 5Fill the volleyball with golden yellow and sky blue panels, leaving the cream white panels white.
- 6Optional: add light caramel shading on the arms and the headband in coral pink to finish.
