Teddy Bear Hugging a Heart, LOVE Words

Coloring guide
Behind big bubble letters that spell LOVE, a cheerful teddy bear holds a large heart against its chest with both paws. The bear has fluffy fur around its face, round ears, big shiny eyes, a little nose and an open smile with a tongue showing. The letters L, O, V and E are stacked in a cozy cluster at the bottom, the O tucked beside the bear, with small tufts of grass poking out near the bottom corners. Hearts of different sizes float around the bear's head and sides. Thick, clear outlines suit younger kids, and the roomy letters are good for practicing steady coloring. Soft brown fur, a bright red heart and a different color for each letter would look sweet. You can save it as a free PDF to share with kids and coloring fans of all ages. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big bear body, head, arms, legs and tail in caramel brown, leaving the eye whites and the inside of the letter O white.
- 2Color the large heart in cherry red, then the small hearts scattered around the bear in the same red.
- 3Fill the letter L in bubblegum pink, the letter O in golden yellow, the letter V in lavender purple and the letter E in sky blue.
- 4Add the cream muzzle, the bubblegum pink inner ears and tongue, and the light tan shading on the lower muzzle.
- 5Optional: Add a little extra light tan shading on the bear's head and body to give the fur a soft, cuddly look.
- 6Finish by keeping the gap inside the V and the small highlights white, and leave the background white for a clean finish.
