Three Bunnies Collecting Seashells on the Calico Critters Beach

Three bunnies stand together on a sandy beach with the ocean behind them. The bunny on the left wears a button-up shirt with a collar and shorts, and holds a spiral seashell in one hand. The smallest bunny in the middle wears a little outfit with ruffled sleeves and has one paw raised near its mouth. The bunny on the right wears a dress with a lace collar, an embroidered flower panel, and a scalloped hem, and holds a round scallop-style shell. Two birds fly in the sky, and a puffy bush sits on the far shore. The sand is drawn with small dots and dashes. Try coloring the three shells in different pastel shades, then ask kids to find shells like them on a real beach trip or in a picture book. The large shapes in the clothing are easy for small hands to fill in.
