Three Kids Holding Hands Under the Word FRIENDS

Coloring guide
Three smiling children stand side by side holding hands, right beneath big bubble letters that spell FRIENDS. The boy on the left has spiky hair and wears a short-sleeved shirt and shorts. The girl in the middle has a flower on her headband and a simple dress. On the right, a child with curly hair in a puffy bun wears overalls with a front pocket. All three have sneakers or shoes on, and little grass tufts sit near their feet. Stars and hearts of different sizes float around the lettering and the kids. Thick, clean outlines and roomy shapes suit preschoolers and early elementary kids. This free printable fits a classroom kindness week or a first-day-of-school activity. Fill the letters with rainbow stripes and give each child a different bright outfit so every friend stands out. - 2Fill the faces, arms, hands and legs with peach skin, then color the hair medium brown for the boy and middle girl and dark brown for the curly hair on the right.
- 3Color the boy's t-shirt sky blue and his shorts navy blue. Give the middle girl a light pink top and a lavender purple skirt.
- 4Color the right girl's top golden yellow and her overalls bright blue, with tan for her face and neck. Add the hot pink headband and light pink mouth.
- 5Add the stars and hearts in golden yellow and cherry red, and color the shoes and shorts to finish. Leave the socks, eye whites, shoe soles and background white.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading with a slightly darker shade of each color along one side of the shapes to make them pop.
