Happy Faces on Three Floating Snowflakes

Coloring guide
Three snowflakes with big sparkly eyes and open smiles float side by side on this free printable. The biggest one sits toward the middle left and has six round, bubbly arms. A medium snowflake with a similar shape hangs at the upper right, and a smaller one with pointier, angular arms is down at the bottom right. Empty little circles scatter around them like falling snowballs or flakes, all on a plain white background. Thick, clean outlines and roomy shapes help kids who are still working on staying inside the lines. Maybe give each snowflake its own icy color, such as light blue, lavender and teal, and dab white gel pen or glitter on the circles for a sparkly look. It also makes a quiet winter activity for the classroom or at home. This fits right in with our Snowflakes coloring pages — see also Christmas Lights and Santa Claus.
A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- sky blue
- lavender purple
- pale aqua
- rose red
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the big snowflake on the left with sky blue, keeping the eyes and eyebrows white or leaving them uncolored.
- 2Color the top snowflake with lavender purple, leaving its eyes white.
- 3Fill the small snowflake at the bottom right with pale aqua, including all of its arms.
- 4Color the smile on the big snowflake with rose red so it stands out as a happy mouth.
- 5Fill the small round snow dots scattered around the page with sky blue.
- 6Optional: add a few light strokes of a slightly darker shade in the snowflake arms to give them a little depth.
