Two Baby Zebras Cheek to Cheek

Coloring guide
Two young zebras stand side by side with their heads tilted together, cheeks touching and big smiles on both faces. Each has round eyes, a rounded snout, perky ears and a spiky mane, and their necks cross in the middle so the pair looks like one big hug. Curvy stripes wrap around their bodies and legs, and each zebra has a tufted tail. The background stays simple, with grass tufts at their feet and a small umbrella-style tree on the right. It's a friendly free printable for preschoolers, and older kids who like detailed stripes will enjoy it too. Bold black and white markers with pale pink on the noses and ears look great. You could also give each zebra its own stripe color, like blue and purple, so it's clear where one ends and the other begins. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by coloring the tree canopy with leaf green, leaving some small gaps so it looks airy.
- 2Fill the tree trunk and branches with chocolate brown, then color both zebra noses with warm tan.
- 3Color the inside of all four ears with soft pink, keeping the eyes and the zebras' bodies white.
- 4Use charcoal black for the zebras' stripes, manes, tails, and hooves, and add dark gray to the neck stripes for a softer look.
- 5Fill the zebras' legs and belly areas with light gray in a few spots to add gentle shading.
- 6Optional: Leave the sky and the zebras' eye whites uncolored so the picture feels bright and fresh.
