Two Dads on the Sofa with Their Kids and Kitten, Diversity & Inclusion
Coloring guide
Two smiling dads sit snugly together on a cushioned armchair-style sofa, with a little girl and a baby on their laps. The girl wears a headband with a bow and a collared dress, and she holds a small whiskered kitten on her knees. The dad on the left has short hair and a T-shirt, while the dad on the right has a beard and a long-sleeved top. The baby sits happily in a onesie with a curl of hair on top. Three framed pictures hang on the wall behind them: a mountain landscape with a sun, a heart and a flower. A leafy potted plant stands at the right, and an oval rug lies under their sneakers. Soft purples and teals suit the sofa, and a warm yellow would be lovely for the kitten. Print or download this free page, and keep a few extra copies on hand. Looking for more? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big sofa, including its back, arms, seat cushions and legs, with mint green, and fill the sofa legs with caramel brown.
- 2Fill both dads' jeans with denim blue, and color the left dad's t-shirt with bright blue and the right dad's shirt with emerald green.
- 3Color the girl's dress with rose pink and the cat with golden yellow, leaving the cat's white chest and the girl's white collar untouched.
- 4Use peach skin tone for all faces, arms, hands and legs, then add dark brown to the left dad's hair, caramel brown to the right dad's hair and chestnut brown to the girl's hair.
- 5Optional: Fill the wall pictures with pale sky blue skies, grass green hills, forest green mountain and coral red heart, then color the plant with leaf green and its pot with tangerine orange, leaving the shoe soles and eye whites white.
