Two Flamingos Sharing a Small Reedy Pond

Coloring guide
Two flamingos stand in a small pond with a wavy edge. The taller one on the right holds its long neck in a big S curve and looks off to the side, with one leg bent up against its body. The second flamingo on the left leans forward and dips its beak into the water, with its wing feathers spread out behind it. Ripples circle the legs and the beak. A clump of tall, pointed leaves grows behind them on the right, and a few small tufts sit along the pond's edge. The wing feathers are drawn in neat overlapping rows, and the beaks have solid black tips, so they are easy to spot. Try pink and coral shades on the bodies, then use blues and greens for the water and leaves. Kids can also color one bird lighter and one darker to show how flamingo feathers can vary. Print as many copies as you need for a classroom.
