Two Kids Sledding Downhill on a Wooden Sled
Coloring guide
Two grinning kids in pompom knit hats zoom down a hill on a wooden sled. The one in back has long, flowing hair and a scarf streaming behind, while the one in front holds the steering rails with mittened hands. Both wear puffy coats, boots and striped scarves with fringed ends. Snow sprays up beside the runners, and the slope behind is dotted with snow-covered pines and a few bare, rounded bushes. Older kids can enjoy the slatted seat and curled metal runners, and younger ones can tackle the big hats and scarves. It's a good free printable for a snow day. Red and blue striped hats and scarves will help the riders stand out against the pale hill. Browse more Winter coloring pages, or explore Mother's Day and Teacher Appreciation Day for even more fun.

- 3Use violet purple for the girl's coat and pants, and rose pink for her boots and the tail of her scarf.
- 4Fill the boy's hat, jacket and sleeves with bright blue, then add his scarf and mittens in bright red and his pants in forest green.
- 5Color the sled planks with honey orange and caramel, the runners with pale steel blue, and the pine trees in forest green, leaving the snow patches and background white.
- 6Optional: add a little dark brown to the boots, the boy's hair and the sled shadows for depth.
