Unicorn Rearing Beneath Two Layered Feathered Wings

A winged unicorn rears up on its hind legs with both front hooves tucked in front of its chest. Two large feathered wings sweep back and up behind its body, each made of long layered feathers that get shorter toward the tips. The unicorn has a spiral horn, a pointed ear, a big eye with long lashes, and a small smile. Its mane flows in curved stripes along the neck, and a long swishing tail curls out behind. The hooves are drawn with simple bands at the ankles. Clean, bold outlines and roomy shapes make this easy for younger kids to color. Try a different shade for each row of wing feathers, then use the striped lines in the mane and tail for a gradual color fade. This free printable also works well for talking about how real horses stand and move.
