Village Christmas Market Ice Skating Rink with Kids

Arms stretched wide, a girl in a pom-pom beanie, scarf and buttoned coat glides toward you, and four more kids skate across the rink behind her. Every child has a winter hat, a scarf and ice skates. A tall Christmas tree with a star on top stands in the middle of the rink, decorated with bows, baubles and garlands and ringed by a small fence. In the background you'll see snow-roofed timber-framed houses, two street lamps, a church tower with a clock and decorated market stalls, with snowflakes in the sky and snowy fir trees in the bottom corners. Red and green work well for the tree bows and stall wreaths, and bright hats and scarves will make the skaters stand out on a pale blue rink.
