Waving Hand With Smiling Face, Anatomy for Preschoolers

Coloring guide
Here's a friendly open hand saying hello, palm out and all five fingers spread wide. A big happy face sits in the middle of the palm, with two round eyes that have dark pupils and tiny shine spots, curved eyebrows, and a wide smile with a little tongue showing. The thumb points to the left, and a short wrist with a simple cuff edge finishes the bottom. Nothing else is on the page, just plain white around the hand. Thick clean outlines and big finger shapes make it easy for small hands, and it's a handy free printable for preschoolers learning about hands, fingers and counting to five. Peachy skin tones work well, with blue or green eyes and a rosy pink mouth. Add this to your Anatomy coloring page collection, alongside Alphabet and Disney Alphabet.
A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- golden yellow
- soft pink
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the whole hand, including all five fingers and the wrist, with golden yellow, leaving the outline dark.
- 2Keep the eye whites and the top teeth of the smile white so they stand out against the yellow.
- 3Fill the inside of the open mouth's lower part with soft pink for the tongue.
- 4Color the pupils and the smile's dark outline in black or dark brown to make the face pop.
- 5Leave the background white around the hand, as in the example.
- 6Optional: Add a few light diagonal strokes of slightly darker yellow on the hand to give it a textured, pencil-like look.
