This little robot is all smiles, with one hand up in a big wave and the other arm hanging at its side. Its square head has big round eyes, a curved smile, a ball-tipped antenna and rounded ear panels on both sides. Three circle buttons line up down the boxy body. The arms and legs are striped and segmented, and the robot finishes off with big rounded shoes. Lines are thick and clean and there's no background, so small hands won't get stuck in tiny spaces. It's a good free printable for preschoolers and early elementary kids. A bright blue body with red, yellow and green buttons looks great, and silver or gray on the striped arms and legs gives it a metal feel. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big square head sky blue, and both ears bright red, leaving the two large eye whites and the smile white.
- 2Fill the chest panel, both hands and the antenna stick with golden yellow, keeping the eyes and background white.
- 3Color the antenna ball, both feet and both shoe soles bright red, then the ears if you skipped them.
- 4Use royal blue for the neck, the shoulder and wrist bands, the middle arm stripes, the upper legs and the bottom chest button.
- 5Color the lighter arm stripes and lower legs light blue, the middle chest button leaf green and the top chest button bright red.
- 6Optional: add a few light diagonal strokes of a darker shade inside the head and body to give the robot a gentle texture.
