Whale With Flower and Leaf Design in Wavy Water

A round, friendly whale swims in wavy water with a small spout curling up from the top of its head. Its big eye has a solid black pupil, and a gentle curved smile runs along the front of its face. Across the body sits a large flower with scalloped petals around a circle and a smaller oval in the center. Next to it is a pointed leaf with a single line down the middle. The tail flips up on the right side, and a zigzag line makes the waves along the bottom. The large open areas are easy for small hands to fill in. Try coloring the flower and leaf in different shades, then talk about which parts of the picture belong to the whale and which are patterns. This free page works well for preschoolers building crayon control.
