Two Tomatoes, One Whole and One Cut Open Showing Seeds

Two Tomatoes, One Whole and One Cut Open Showing Seeds coloring sheet

Coloring guide

A round tomato with a star-shaped leafy cap sits behind a second tomato that has been sliced in half. The cut half faces us and shows the inside, with seed pockets, little oval seeds, and wavy lines where the pulp is. A short piece of stem sticks out on the right side of the cut half. Two jagged, leafy sprigs poke out along the bottom. The outlines are bold and clean, so it works well for kids who are still learning to stay inside the lines. Try red for the skin and a lighter red or orange for the inside, then pick out the seeds in yellow or pale green. It also works nicely for a quick lesson on what is inside a tomato.
