Wind Turbine Meadow Walk, Blippi Printable
Coloring guide
On a rock in a grassy meadow, a smiling boy in a big hard hat points up at three tall wind turbines with spinning blades. He wears a backpack, a short-sleeve shirt, cargo pants with pockets and lace-up hiking boots. Wildflowers and grass tufts fill the foreground, and a winding path crosses the rolling hills behind him. A wooden fence, a few trees and puffy clouds round out the scene. The outdoor-adventure feel suits a Blippi-style explorer, although the art alone doesn't clearly show who the character is. This free printable is a good one for kids who enjoy nature walks or learning about clean energy. Bright orange or yellow works for the hard hat, sky blue and soft greens for the hills, and white and light gray will keep the turbines standing out. This fits right in with our Blippi coloring pages — see also Pororo and Winnie the Pooh.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the sky: fill the open sky areas with sky blue, and use pale blue near the horizon and behind the hills on the left and right.
- 2Color the meadow and hills next: use grass green for the big grassy areas and flowers' leaves, and mint green for the distant rolling hills.
- 3Fill the boy's clothes: use orange for the t-shirt, denim blue for the jeans, and dark green for the backpack, with olive green for the front pocket.
- 4Add skin tones in peach on the face, cheeks, neck, arm and pointing hand, then use dark brown for the hair and golden yellow for the helmet.
- 5Color the boots in walnut brown with chocolate brown soles, and use stone gray for the rocks and charcoal gray for the laces.
- 6Finish with light gray for the turbine blades, and leave the clouds, turbine towers and hub white. Optional: add a little darker blue at the edges of the sky for depth.
