Winged Chinese Dragon Puffing Smoke Among Clouds

A long, coiled Chinese dragon twists through the page with its head turned to the side and a stern, narrowed eye. It has a curved horn, a shaggy mane and brow, and a small cloud of smoke puffing out near its snout. Two webbed wings fan out behind its head, and one clawed foot reaches forward near its chest. The striped belly sections wind down in big loops to a wispy, pointed tail, with little clouds scattered around the body. The wide bands on the body are easy to fill in, while the mane and wing panels offer smaller spaces for detail. Try coloring each belly stripe in a different warm shade, like red, orange, and gold, and leave the clouds pale blue or gray. It's a good fit for Chinese New Year crafts, and the printable page works well for a classroom display.
