Scaly Winged Dragon, Bakugan Style Coloring Page
Coloring guide
A big dragon takes up the whole page, standing upright with a bat-style wing stretched wide on each side. Its horned head is turned to one side and its mouth hangs open. Overlapping scales cover the chest and belly, and spiky frills run along the neck and arms. The clawed feet are planted at the bottom, and the long tail curls to the right with a small tuft near the tip. Both wings are large and open, with clear sections that are easy to fill. With no background, kids get to choose all the colors. Deep blues or purples on the wings and a lighter shade on the scaly belly would let the texture show. Print the free PDF for a rainy day or classroom time. This fits right in with our Bakugan coloring pages — see also Robot and Talking Tom.
A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- sky blue
- coral red
- cream yellow
- warm beige
- brick red
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill both large wings and the left wing with sky blue, leaving the small gap in the right wing and the wing tip hook white.
- 2Color the dragon body, arms, legs and feet with coral red, going around the spiky ridges along the back and neck.
- 3Use brick red for the darker patches near the neck and head, and the crest above the face.
- 4Add cream yellow to the belly, the face area and the small patches along the chest and wing stripes.
- 5Paint the pale horns and the small face details with warm beige, then keep the background, the gaps between the legs and the wing hole white.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of coral red or sky blue along the wing edges and belly to make the scales look more textured.
