Wolf Standing in Grass Looking Right

Wolf Standing in Grass Looking Right coloring sheet

Coloring guide

A lone wolf stands in a patch of grass with its body angled away from us and its head turned to the right in profile. The ears are tall and pointed, the eye is small and alert, and the long snout ends in a rounded nose. Loose, wispy lines show the fur around the neck, shoulders and chest, and the bushy tail hangs down toward the ground with a pointed tip. Four slim legs are planted on the ground, and curved blades of grass are scattered along the bottom edge. The outlines are clean and open, so there is plenty of room for crayons or colored pencils. Try gray, tan and soft brown layers to show the fur texture, then talk about how wolves use their ears and eyes to stay aware of their surroundings. This printable page works well for animal units or quiet time.
