Wolf Walking Slowly Through Grassy Field
Coloring guide
A single wolf walks across an open field, its head lowered and its eyes looking straight out at you. The ears are pointed and have little tufts of fur inside, and the fur around the neck and shoulders is drawn in jagged, shaggy lines. Its long legs are mid-step, and the bushy tail hangs down with a pointed tip. Small clumps of grass and a few loose ground lines sit around its paws, leaving plenty of empty sky above. The large body area is great for practicing shading with gray, brown, and tan pencils, and you could use short strokes that follow the fur lines. It's also a nice starting point for talking about how wolves look and move. This printable page works well for kids who like animals.
