Woodland Friendship Walk with Owl, Fox, Fawn, Hedgehog and Squirrel

A small owl glides in with wings spread wide over a woodland path, and below it a fox, a spotted fawn with small antlers, a smiling hedgehog and a squirrel stroll along together. The fox grins with its fluffy tail curled behind, the fawn glances back at the group, and the squirrel hops on its back legs with paws held close. Tall tree trunks, leafy bushes, distant pine trees, fallen leaves, rocks and big toadstool mushrooms in the corners surround them. Large, clear outlines suit small hands, and the fur, feathers and leaves keep older kids busy with detail. Warm orange works for the fox and squirrel, soft browns for the fawn (leave the spots lighter), and reds and greens for the mushrooms and leaves.
