Young Dolphin Greeting a Starfish on the Seabed

Coloring guide
Leaning down toward the sandy seafloor, a baby dolphin touches its snout to a big starfish, smiling with large sparkly eyes. Its tail flips up behind it, and the pointed dorsal fin and side flippers leave plenty of smooth open areas to fill in. Each arm of the starfish has a ring of little dots and there's a circle in the middle, which is good practice for small, careful details. Nearby are a ridged scallop shell, a small spiral shell, two clumps of seaweed, and scattered pebbles and sand dots. Thick, clear outlines suit preschoolers and early elementary kids. Sky blue or gray for the dolphin and bright orange or coral for the starfish keep the two apart. A calm, easy page, free to print. Looking for more? - 2Fill the starfish in orange, then add a golden yellow circle in its center.
- 3Color the scallop shell in lavender purple, following its ridges, and the two spiral shells in baby pink.
- 4Color the seaweed in leaf green and the small pebble in light brown.
- 5Add a soft touch of pale blue on the cheek near the mouth and right eye.
- 6Optional: Add a few darker blue strokes on the dolphin's belly and back for depth, and leave the sandy background white.
