Young Witch Sweeping a Haunted House Porch

A smiling young witch in a big pointed hat with a buckle sweeps a wooden porch with a bristly broom, and a curious kitten sits on a round pumpkin next to her. She has long wavy hair, a loose dress with a little bow at the collar, striped socks and buckled boots, so there's plenty to color. A few autumn leaves lie scattered over the floorboards. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big house areas: color the walls and the wide wall panels around the door in sky blue, and leave the tree branches on the left white.
- 2Color the roof tiles in coral red, then fill the porch floor, the front step and the wooden door in warm brown.
- 3Fill the witch's dress, pointed hat, brim and boots with lavender purple and deep purple, then add the pumpkin orange band on the hat.
- 4Color the pumpkin in pumpkin orange, the broom and the girl's hair in golden yellow, and the cat in charcoal gray.
- 5Add the grass and bushes in grass green and leafy green, and the fence pickets in pale yellow. Fill the window panes with pale blue.
- 6Optional: add light shading on the dress folds and the wooden door with a slightly darker tone of the same color.
