Zoo Giraffe Leaf Snack, Blippi Coloring Page
Coloring guide
At the zoo, a smiling boy in a flat cap, overalls and sneakers stands on a wooden walkway and leans over the railing with a leaf for a friendly giraffe. The giraffe lowers its long, patterned neck to meet him. It has big eyelashes, little horn-like knobs and a calm, curious face. In his other hand, the boy is holding a few extra leaves. A chain-link fence, wooden posts, bushy trees and small grass tufts fill in behind them. Large giraffe spots and wide, clear outlines make this easy going for preschoolers and early elementary kids. Golden yellow with brown patches would suit the giraffe, and bright green leaves will stand out nicely. Download the free PDF and print it for some screen-free time at home. This fits right in with our Blippi coloring pages — see also Pororo and Winnie the Pooh.

- 1Start with the big tree foliage in leaf green and the top-left tree in forest green, then fill the grass patches and small bushes with lime green and pale green.
- 2Color the giraffe in golden yellow, then add chocolate brown patches on the neck, head and horns, and use apricot orange for the cheek. Leave the sky background white.
- 3Fill the boy's overalls and cap in denim blue and sky blue, the shirt and sleeves in bright yellow, and his face and hand in skin peach.
- 4Color the wooden fence and deck in caramel brown and tan brown, the gray fence posts in steel gray, and the sneakers in bright red, keeping the shoe soles and laces white.
- 5Optional: add a little darker shading on the giraffe patches and the overalls to make the picture pop.
