A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big letter X in sky blue, leaving the thin gaps between its arms white.
- 2Fill the xylophone's front body with light tan and the wooden sides and rails with warm brown.
- 3Color the bars from left to right: bright red, bright orange, bright yellow, leaf green, and soft purple, keeping the bar undersides in their matching shades.
- 4Color the mallet stick and its joint in soft yellow, and the mallet ball in bright red.
- 5Add the music notes in bright yellow on the left and rose pink on the right.
- 6Finish the smiling face with light pink cheeks and coral pink mouth, leaving the eyes and small shine spots white. Optional: add a slightly darker shade along the edges of the bars for depth.
