Alphabet Monkey Swinging by Letter M
Coloring guide
One hand grips a curling jungle vine while a smiling little monkey leans against a big, bubble-style capital M. In the other hand it holds a half-peeled banana, and its long tail curls up behind the letter. Big split-leaf plants frame the top corners, more vines trail down the sides, and leafy fronds fill the bottom corners around the base of the M. The wide, open outline is easy for small hands, which makes it a good fit for preschoolers learning the M sound for monkey. Golden brown fur, a yellow banana and fresh greens for the leaves would look great. It's a free page to print for a screen-free activity at home. Love this Alphabet coloring page? - 2Fill the monkey's body, arms, legs, tail and hanging arm with warm brown, leaving the light patches on the belly and arm white.
- 3Color the monkey's face and hands with peach tan, then add coral pink to the inner ears and keep the eye whites and teeth white.
- 4Color the big leaves in leaf green and the smaller leaves and vine tips in bright green, and shade the vine with dark gray.
- 5Color the banana with pale yellow and add golden yellow to its tip, leaving the bright shine lines white.
- 6Optional: Add a darker shade of brown along the monkey's edges and a little extra green at the leaf bases for depth.
