Armored Ankylosaurus Walking Past Palm Trees and Volcano

Coloring guide
An armored ankylosaurus walks toward the viewer with its head lowered and its mouth slightly open. Its back is covered in rows of oval plates and pointed spikes, and a long tail ends in a big round club. Around it you can see a tall palm tree with jagged leaves, a smaller palm on the left, a cone-shaped volcano in the background, puffy clouds, rocks, a small leafy plant at the bottom, and a spiky bush with a curly vine on the right. Try coloring the armor plates in alternating shades of green and brown so kids can see how the pattern repeats along the back. It also works well for a quick lesson on how this dinosaur used its tail club for defense. The large shapes are easy for younger children, and the leaves and plates give older kids more detail to work on.
