Coloring guide

Facing forward, a cheerful baby triceratops smiles wide with its tongue peeking out. It has two long horns, a small nose horn and a big frilled collar edged with rounded bumps. Oval spots run down its back, and the toes are drawn as chunky little nails. A small volcano sits on the right with two puffy clouds above it, and grass tufts, leafy bushes and a few rocks surround its feet. Bold lines and roomy spaces make this free printable easy for preschoolers and early elementary kids with crayons or markers. Soft green on the body, orange and yellow on the frill and bright purple on the back spots would be a fun mix. Finish up with a gray volcano and a blue sky. This fits right in with our Dinosaurs coloring pages — see also Owl and Ladybug.
