Triceratops Dinosaur Lounging in a Grass Field by the Mountains

Coloring guide
A large Triceratops lies low in a grassy field, its head turned to the side so the frill, two long brow horns, and shorter nose horn are easy to see. Stippled shading marks the neck and belly, and the thick tail stretches off to the left. Tufts of grass dot the ground, with a flat rock in the lower left and a leafy plant at the edge of the page. Farther back, three smaller horned dinosaurs rest or wander on the right. Jagged mountains and puffy clouds fill the background. Try coloring the big Triceratops in earthy greens and browns, then use lighter shades for the small dinosaurs so they look farther away. It is a nice page for talking about how horned dinosaurs may have lived in groups. Print as many copies as you need for a class.
