ASL Number 4 Hand Sign Outline

Coloring guide
A single open hand is drawn in thick black outline, palm facing forward, with four fingers stretched upward and slightly fanned apart. The thumb is folded across the middle of the palm and tucked down, which is the hand shape used for the number 4 in American Sign Language. Small curved lines mark the knuckles and creases on the fingers and palm, and the wrist area at the bottom is left open. The large fingers and palm leave plenty of room for crayons or markers. Try coloring each of the four raised fingers a different color and counting them out loud, then use a separate color for the tucked thumb so kids can see which finger stays down. This printable page works well for a classroom number station or a quick signing practice at home.
