Beach Ball Fun With a Baby Godzilla Dragon
Coloring guide
Balancing on one foot, a smiling baby dragon kicks a big striped beach ball across the sand. It has floppy ears, small spikes on its head and a spiky tail. A sandcastle with two towers and a little flag on top stands behind it. In the bottom corner a bucket and a small shovel rest in the sand, and little dotted sand mounds are scattered around. Big, bold outlines and roomy shapes suit preschoolers and early elementary kids who are still building pencil control. It's an easy free PDF to print for a rainy day or a summer classroom break. Try red, yellow and blue stripes on the beach ball, and a cheerful green or orange belly on the dragon so it pops against the soft tan sand. This fits right in with our Godzilla coloring pages — see also Barbie and Chhota Bheem.

- golden yellow
- orange

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the dragon's body, head, arms, tail and both ears in bright green, leaving the eye whites, toe claws and the little patch of sand around the castle white.
- 2Fill the dragon's belly, the sandcastle and the sand mound with pale yellow, keeping the flag for later.
- 3Color the beach ball with bright red, sky blue, orange and golden yellow panels, leaving the small round center cap white.
- 4Add the spikes on the head, back and tail in orange, and fill the bucket with sky blue and its rim with deep blue.
- 5Use coral pink for the tongue and reddish brown for the open mouth, then color the shovel bright red and the castle flag bright red too.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading on the dragon's belly and the sides of the bucket with a slightly darker shade of the same color for more depth.
