Baby Elephant Sprinkling a Watermelon Garden
Coloring guide
In a garden, a smiling baby elephant sprays water from its trunk, and teardrop droplets rain down over a row of four round watermelons. Each melon has wavy stripes, a curly vine on top and leafy greenery around it. The elephant has big floppy ears, wide eyes and a tufted tail. Behind it you'll find a small picket fence, fluffy bushes and a few flowers, with more blooms growing up front. Plenty to color here! Soft gray or blue would suit the elephant, with bright pink and green on the watermelons and light blue for the drops. Download the free PDF and print it for classroom time or a rainy day. This fits right in with our Watermelon coloring pages — see also Vegetable and Police Officer.

- 2Color the ears and the cheek area in light pink, and fill the mouth with rose red.
- 3Fill the watermelons and the big bushes with grass green, then add lime green to the small bushes and leaves.
- 4Color the leaves and the stems with leaf green, and paint the water drops and the spray in sky blue.
- 5Add the hooves in cream and the tail in dark gray, and give the flowers a lavender purple or golden orange touch.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker gray along the elephant's side and a few light strokes of sky blue to the spray for depth.
