A fluffy bear cub sits in the snow with one paw up toward a single big snowflake drifting overhead. Its eyes are wide, it's looking up, and its mouth is open in a happy smile. The paw pads on the raised hand and the outstretched feet are clear round shapes that are fun to fill in. Gentle rolling hills sit behind the cub, along with two chunky blocks of ice and a few small snow mounds by its feet. The thick, furry outline gives crayons lots of room, and the larger shapes suit younger kids. Soft sky blue and lavender would work on the snowflake and ice blocks. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the bear's fluffy body, head, ears, raised arm and both feet in cream white, leaving the eye whites and the snow on the ground white.
- 2Color the two background hills and the small snow mound with pale ice blue.
- 3Fill the ice blocks on the left and right with sky blue for the darker faces and light blue for the edges.
- 4Use warm brown for the big pads on both feet and the raised paw, and add the small brown dot at the top of the paw.
- 5Color the snowflake with light blue, using sky blue in its center.
- 6Optional: Add soft rose inside the ears and bubblegum pink on the tongue for a cheerful finish.
