Baby Tiger Sitting With Two Little Flowers

Coloring guide
Right in the middle of the page, a baby tiger sits up and smiles at you with big round eyes, a little heart-shaped nose and an open, happy mouth. There are plenty of shapes to color: round ears, a fluffy tuft of fur on the forehead and chest, and curved stripes on the face, body and curly tail. Two simple flowers with leaves and small grass tufts sit in the bottom corners, one on each side of the paws. Bold lines and fairly large spaces make this free printable a nice match for preschoolers and early elementary kids building pencil control. Orange fur, dark stripes and bright pink or purple petals look good together. Crayons, markers and colored pencils all work. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the tiger's body, legs and tail with tiger orange, leaving the head and muzzle white for now.
- 2Fill the chest fur, both front paws and the back paws with warm cream.
- 3Add dark brown stripes on the forehead, cheeks, sides of the body, legs and tail, keeping the eye shine spots white.
- 4Color the inside of the ears and the tongue soft pink, then fill the nose with coral pink.
- 5Paint the flower petals sky blue, the flower centers golden yellow and the leaves leaf green.
- 6Optional: add a few light shadows along the belly and under the paws with a slightly darker orange or cream to make the tiger look rounder.
