Backyard Picnic Table with Lemonade and Flowers

A checkered tablecloth covers a wooden picnic table in a fenced backyard. On top sit a large pitcher of lemonade filled with lemon slices and ice cubes, two glasses with straws and more lemon slices, and a glass jar of daisy-style flowers tied with a bow. A small pennant flag on a pole rises up behind the jar. Behind the table you'll see a wooden picket fence, round bushes, a big leafy tree on the left, two puffy clouds, and a sun with rays in the sky. Tufts of grass are scattered across the lawn below. Since it's filed under Memorial Day, kids could color the flag in red, white, and blue and keep the rest of the picnic in sunny yellows and greens. The checkered cloth is a fun spot to practice alternating colors square by square, which works well for pattern lessons. It's a free printable that suits a range of ages.
