Smiling Backyard Grill With Burgers and Smoke
Coloring guide
A round charcoal grill with a big happy face sits in a backyard, with wavy ribbons of smoke curling up from the top. Four patties with crosshatch grill marks rest on the grate. The grill has two little arm-like handles, wheels at the bottom, and three legs. To the right, a wooden picnic table holds a plate stacked with three sesame seed burgers. Behind everything are a picket fence, round bushes, a leafy tree, and tufts of grass on the ground. Because this page is filed under Memorial Day, it fits a cookout theme well. Try red, white, and blue for the table and bushes, then use warm browns for the burger buns and patties. Kids can also practice shading by coloring the grill marks darker than the rest of each patty. Print it for a holiday weekend activity at home or in class.
