A big scalloped beach umbrella shades the shoreline, its pole planted in the sand next to a tall sandcastle. The castle has a pointed tower with a little flag on top, arched windows and a doorway, plus two smaller towers on either side. In front sit a bucket with a curved handle and a shovel standing upright in the sand. Three wavy lines of ocean run across the background. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the umbrella: fill its panels alternating bright yellow and red, leaving the small knob on top red.
- 2Color the ocean waves in sky blue and light blue, and fill the sandcastle walls and tower with sand beige.
- 3Shade the sandcastle roof and umbrella pole in bright yellow and brown, then color the castle door brown and the windows light blue.
- 4Fill the red bucket, its rim and handle, and the blue shovel, keeping the shell's swirl area white.
