A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big umbrella: color its panels in red, lemon yellow and bright blue, alternating around the canopy, and add a pale olive shade under the rim.
- 2Fill the boy's coat and hood with bright blue, then the girl's coat and hood with coral pink, leaving the buttons and small highlights white.
- 3Color the faces and hands with peach, then fill the boy's hair with dark brown and the girl's hair with golden yellow.
- 4Paint the rain boots lemon yellow and the jeans denim blue on the boy and sky blue on the girl, keeping the boot trims white.
- 5Color the path light gray, the grass lime green and the bushes leaf green, then add sky blue puddles on the sidewalk.
- 6Optional: Finish with a brown door on the house, red chimney, tangerine trim, and cream house walls, keeping the fence and background white.
