Bear, Bunny, Deer and Squirrel Picnic Below the Mountains

Four animal friends share a checkered picnic blanket: a big smiling bear, a bunny, a spotted deer with antlers and a little squirrel. The bear and bunny each hold a sandwich while the squirrel nibbles a small apple. Two woven baskets sit in front, one piled with apples and grapes and the other holding sandwiches, along with a plate of sandwiches and a bowl of strawberries. A lake lies behind the group beneath snowy mountain peaks and a line of pines. A leafy tree frames the left side, a tall evergreen stands on the right, and flowers fill the meadow and the corners. Kids who love detailed animals and food will enjoy this one. Golden tones for the deer's spots and bright red for the strawberries are fun choices. The printable PDF is free for all ages.
