Spotted Long-Neck Dinosaur With a Small Dino Beside Trees

A large dinosaur with a long curved neck, a small rounded head and a big friendly eye stands in the front of this scene, with three long claws on its forelimb and a tail that sweeps up in bands. Spots are scattered across its back. Behind it, a smaller dinosaur with a striped belly looks back over its shoulder, one clawed hand lifted. Two puffy-topped trees, a few clouds, tufts of grass and a ground line fill in the background. The picture is drawn sideways on the page, so turn it before you start. Try giving the big dinosaur a different color for its spots, banded tail and claws, then talk about why long claws might have been useful for reaching leaves. This free printable works well for kids who like big, bold outlines.
