Big-Eyed Baby Octopus With Spiral Tentacles

Coloring guide
A happy octopus with a big round head, wide sparkling eyes and an open-mouthed smile fills the whole page. Two little curved eyebrows make it look curious. The tentacles curl out in every direction and are lined with round suction cups, which gives little hands lots of small circles to fill in. The two bottom tentacles swirl inward into spirals, while the ones on each side curl up and out. With no background at all, just a clean white page, younger kids won't feel overwhelmed, and the large smooth head is great for practicing even strokes. A bright purple or coral orange body with pink or yellow suction cups would stand out nicely. Download the free PDF for some screen-free time at home. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big round head, the arms and the large body area with lavender purple, leaving the background and the eye whites white.
- 2Fill the open mouth with rose red and the tongue inside it with bubblegum pink.
- 3Color the inner stripes running along each tentacle with bubblegum pink and blush pink, and the curled tips and bases with peach and apricot.
- 4Fill the round sucker dots on the tentacles with butter yellow, leaving them as clean circles.
- 5Use orchid pink on the thin edges of the tentacles to add a soft accent.
- 6Optional: Leave small white shine spots in both eyes and the background white for a bright, cheerful finish.
