Black Widow Kneeling on Rocks, Captain America Series

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• peach skin
• forest green
• grass green
• slate gray
• crimson red
• golden yellow

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the big skin areas: color the woman's arms, legs, shoulders and face with peach skin, leaving the eyes and lips for later.
2. 2Fill the background hills and bushes with forest green, then add grass green on the lower grassy patches and the tufts near her arm.
3. 3Color the rocks and flowers in slate gray, including the rocks at the bottom left and right and the flower cluster on the left.
4. 4Add the crimson red parts: the collar, the shoulder patch and the cloth under her hip.
5. 5Color the hair with golden yellow, leaving a few light streaks of white paper for highlights.
6. 6Optional: Add a little darker peach along the body edges and a touch of dark green under the bushes for depth.
