Boy and Baby Dragon on a Sunny Hill, Descendants Page
Coloring guide
On a grassy hill, a smiling boy with tousled hair sits cross-legged and looks down at the small baby dragon next to him. He's dressed in a jacket with two stitched patches on the sleeve, a round-neck shirt, cuffed pants and sneakers. The dragon sits up with a happy grin, tiny horns, a spiky back, a curled tail and one wing spread out behind it. It gazes up at the boy like they've been best friends forever. A big round sun with chunky rays shines in the upper corner, and flowers and tufts of grass fill the bottom. Bold lines and large shapes make this free printable a good fit for preschoolers and early elementary kids. Bright green works well for the dragon and sunny yellow for the sun. Patchwork colors on the jacket would be a fun touch. Kids who like Descendants coloring pages usually enjoy Aladdin and Moana too.

- 2Color the boy's hair in chestnut brown and his face and ears in peach skin, keeping the eye whites bright white.
- 3Fill the jacket and pants in denim blue and sky blue, then add the golden yellow patches on the sleeve and the cuff in light blue.
- 4Color the dragon's body and legs in grass green, and paint its wings, back spikes and tail tip in sunny yellow.
- 5Add the cherry red sneakers, leave the white shirt and shoe edges white, and color the flower petals and leaves white with dark outlines.
- 6Optional: add a slightly darker green shadow under the dragon and a little extra shading on the jacket to make it pop.
