Little Captain at the Ship Wheel for Descendants Fans
Coloring guide
A cheerful boy with a knotted bandana grins as he steers a big wooden ship's wheel in this nautical page. His striped shirt sits under an open vest, and those stripes leave little ones lots of room to switch colors boldly. A friendly seagull with an open beak is perched on the ship's rail next to him, looking just as pleased as the captain. A large curved sail fills the top of the page, a thick rope runs up the mast, and wavy ocean lines peek out in the background. A coiled rope rests on the deck in the lower corner. Red and white stripes with a bright blue bandana look great, and the seagull can stay mostly white with orange for the beak and feet. Print the free PDF for classroom time or a rainy day. This fits right in with our Descendants coloring pages — see also Aladdin and Moana.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the large sail with cream white and add bright blue to the stripe running down it.
- 2Fill the ocean waves on both sides with ocean blue and aqua blue, leaving the seagull and sky white.
- 3Color the mast, boom, railings, deck and steering wheel with warm brown, switching to dark brown for the darker wheel spokes and mast.
- 4Color the face, neck, arms and hands with skin peach, then fill the bandana with bright red.
- 5Color the vest with dark navy, the striped shirt with soft blue, pale blue and bright blue, and keep the white shirt stripes white. Make the wheel hub golden yellow.
- 6Leave the hair highlights, seagull, sky and eye whites white. Optional: add a little darker blue at the edges of the waves for depth.
