Four Robed Students Strolling a Castle Garden, Descendants
Coloring guide
Four young students walk side by side along a stone-paved path in a castle courtyard garden, smiling and chatting. Each one has a hooded cloak over a sweater, collared shirt and tie. Two wear pleated skirts with knee socks and two wear trousers. The girl second from the left has long wavy hair and hugs a thick book to her chest, and the girl on the right has a high ponytail. The boy in the middle waves one hand around as if he's telling a story. Behind them stands a tiered fountain in front of tall arched Gothic windows, plus a stone tower with flags, tidy hedges, trees and flower beds in the corners. Deep burgundy or navy would look good on the cloaks, with bright contrasting stripes on the ties and soft greens on the hedges. Save it as a free PDF for a quiet, creative moment. - 1Start with the big background: fill the leafy trees and bushes with leaf green, and the tall cypress trees with forest green.
- 2Color the castle walls and tower with peach skin, and the pavement and ground with sand beige.
- 3Fill the four robes and capes with charcoal black, and the trousers, skirts and sweaters with dark gray.
- 4Add the red lining under the capes, the green book in the middle girl's hands, and the warm brown hair on the left boy.
- 5Color the blond hair of the right boy with golden yellow, and use peach skin for faces, arms and knees, leaving the eye whites bright.
- 6Optional: Add a little taupe gray in the shadows on the stones and a deep brown belt on the left boy for extra depth.
