Boy Planting a Seedling for Earth Day
Coloring guide
Kneeling in the dirt, a smiling boy holds a small garden trowel in one hand and steadies a young seedling with several leaves using the other. Loose soil is piled around the base of the plant and tufts of grass dot the ground. On the right there's a watering can with a round handle and a sprinkler spout, waiting for its turn. A big sun with short rays shines in the upper corner. He has tousled hair, a short-sleeved t-shirt with a round collar and sneakers. Outlines are large and clear, so this free printable suits preschoolers and early elementary kids. Green leaves and grass, a warm yellow sun and a red or blue watering can will pop against the brown soil. Good for an Earth Day lesson or some spring gardening fun.
