Bunny in a Flower Sun Hat, Easter for Kids Coloring Page
Coloring guide
This sweet floppy-eared bunny sits upright in a wide-brimmed sun hat trimmed with a ring of flowers and leaves, hugging a big Easter egg to its tummy. Look closer and you'll notice long lashes, round sparkly eyes, a little smile, whiskers on both cheeks and a neat bow tied under the chin. The fluffy round tail peeks out on the left, and the big feet are tucked in front. There's no background, so kids can focus on the bunny. Large open areas like the egg, hat brim and ears are easy for small hands, while the petals and bow offer smaller spots for older kids. Soft lavender for the hat and bow, bright yellow and pink flowers, and a pastel pattern of stripes or dots on the egg would be pretty. Download and print this free page for a quiet, creative moment. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big body areas: color the bunny head, ears, paws, and haunches warm brown, leaving the eye shines white.
- 2Fill the inner ears, the tongue, and the nose with light pink and salmon pink, then color the cream belly, feet, paws, tail, and chest patch cream.
- 3Color the hat, its brim and crown, and the flower band in butter yellow, and paint the bow and its loops in rose pink.
- 4Paint the egg sky blue, then color the big flower in the hat with salmon pink and the other flowers in lavender purple, tangerine orange, and sky blue.
- 5Add leaf green to the leaves and stems, and use butter yellow for the flower centers.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the brown ears and bow for depth, and leave the eye shines white to make the eyes sparkle.
