Cartoon Dinosaur Walking Past Palm Plants and Nest

A smiling long-necked dinosaur walks across the page with its head lowered and its big round eye looking up. It has a long curved tail that sweeps up toward the top, a slim body, and clawed feet. Around it are several leafy palm plants with jagged fronds, one tall palm with a scaly trunk, and two small tufts of grass. On the right sits a nest-like mound with a ring of large oval eggs, plus a few small bubbles and dots on the surface and a pointed tip at the top. The shapes are big and the lines are bold, so it works well for younger kids. Try coloring the dinosaur in a bright green, then use different shades for each egg and talk about how dinosaurs hatched from eggs. This page is free to print for a quiet activity at home or in class.
